This double sided hanging quilt is called One Mississippi, Two Mississippi. The back is made from scraps cut while making the front landscape. It’s approximately 2′ x 7′ and hangs in my studio as a souvenir of a lovely visit with my mother in 2010 (who taught me almost everything I know!). This quilt was inspired by the appliqued dimensional flowers, which I had learned to make from one of her guild mates the night before I started this piece. Thanks Violet!
