Sweetest Little Double Act is my 2025 Sweetest Little Thing submission. It’s after Maurizio Cattelan’s Comedian – you know, the multiple million dollar banana duct-taped to Sotheby’s wall last fall, and then promptly eaten by the winning bidder?!?! Mine is not edible… it’s  made from mostly recycled media: old guitar strings, packaging cardboard, fiber scraps, felt, wool roving, paint, and as per usual – the teeth that i make from dead lighter parts… and just like last year’s it cracks me up! fun fact: according to wikipedia, the funny half of a double act is also known as Banana Man… the more you know!

Sweetest Little Thing is an annual Valentines day art auction in Sackville NB, in support of both the Owens Art Gallery and Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Art Centre. Locally, it’s a fun family friendly party, and if you’re from afar, you can still participate by bidding online!
